Aprille Thompson is a budding young artist that can capture the spirit of the horse in her work. Aprille has teamed up with Equines by Design to offer her art across the AMHR/ASPC/ASPR industry this year. Aprille has created a Modern, a Classic and a Miniature drawing this year. I will be sending a print of one picture to each Regional show for use in their silent auction. The originals will go to 2012 Convention for the Trainer's Auction. Watch for your favorite!

Aprille created two pieces for the Trainer’s Auction at the 2011 Convention, and offered a custom for the lucky buyer of their own pony. These are all one of a kind original depicting the pony we would all love to own. Auction #1 and #2 were Framed 9x12 Charcoals, created especially for our auction, number 1 of 1 and signed by the artist. Auction #3 was a 11x17 that of the buyer's Pony/Horse in either pencil or charcoal.

We got to know Aprille two years ago when she successfully showed one of our Classic mares at the High School Equestrian Team and 4-H. Her time driving ponies and riding both stock and pleasure type horses gives her a deep insight into our equine partners.
